As part of our service offer, our account managers will work with employers and agree an AAO at the start of the Apprenticeship, or as close to the start as possible. We aim to get all parties working together to agree, and work towards planned EPA dates as soon as possible, so there aren’t any delays to programme completions.
We’ll manage the relationship with the employer’s chosen AAO and facilitate all EPA requests to help apprentices move smoothly through their Gateway (the term used when apprentices are ready to move from training through to EPA).
Our account managers and operational teams work closely with employers to confirm when apprentices are ready to be registered for their EPA. We’ll confirm all the information required for registration and communicate this to the AAO.
When Gateway has been agreed, coordination of the EPA activity will, in most cases, be direct with the employer and AAO. We’ll be here to support this process and our regular weekly EPA reporting will help everything run smoothly.
The AAO will communicate the outcomes of the EPA to us, which will be a range of results depending on the type of assessment undertaken for the standard. Our preferred partners agree a service level agreement to provide this information within 20 days of assessment.
We will then review the outcomes and communicate the results to the apprentices and line managers.
